I came into design sideways.

I studied Mechatronics Engineering in college, originally drawn to it because I wanted to design cars. Automotive design was the thing I kept circling. Somewhere in the middle of the degree, that interest broadened. I realised what pulled me wasn't cars specifically, but design itself, the way a well-made thing can change how someone moves through their day.

I started taking on small design projects while still in college. That turned into a UI/UX bootcamp, then a first job at The Potato Studio, then PayNearby, then Fractal Ink, where I lead UI today across clients like Kmart Australia, Dr. Reddy's, McKinsey, BCG, and Federal Bank.

Now I'm pursuing my M.Des at IIT Hyderabad, which has pulled me back into editorial design, typography, and the slower disciplines I'd missed in fast-paced product work. Both halves keep each other honest.

I also mentor designers on Topmate, helping early-stage folks find their footing.

Apart from work

As designers, we all need time outside the screen. My work comes alive when I step away for a bit.

Travel. Long drives once a month, ideally with no plan and good coffee at the other end.

Sing. I'm trained in Hindustani classical music.

Eat. Food is my weakness across all seven cheat days. New cuisines, cozy Italian restaurants, the occasional sassy bar. I cook sometimes too.

Shoot sunsets. I have a slightly unreasonable archive of them, all on iPhone, across cities I've lived in and travelled through.
